Ambient Temperature Sensor-PT1000 with 0-10V Output – 3S-AT-PT1000-U
Ambient Temperature Sensor measures the air temperature in the environment where the PVs are placed in degrees Celsius (°C) by using a PT1000 probe. In order to communicate via 0-10V, a transducer is used to convert PT000 to the required Output signal. This Ambient Temperature Sensor Model is compatible with all Dataloggers, Gateways, and PLCs with 0-10V input port. It is supplied with mounting facility, and protected from direct sunlight & radiations by a plastic radiation shield with four aspirated plates that allow the air to pass freely.
One of the primary elements that directly impacts solar panel performance is ambient temperature. For instance, the generated energy decreases when the cell temperature rises in parallel with the ambient temperature. Furthermore, factors like wind speed and air density affect heat transmission, so measuring the ambient temperature is a crucial component of any analysis of the efficiency of PV systems.
One tool to calculate the ambient temperature is the ambient temperature sensor. The air temperature in the area where PV systems are installed is measured in degrees Celsius (°C) using a PT1000 probe. A UV-resistant radiation shield shields the product from the damaging effects of direct sunlight. It is made especially for PV plant monitoring systems that adhere to IEC 61724-1:2021 and IEC 60751:2022.
Analog 0–10 V ambient temperature sensors are specifically made for high-end environmental settings. A high-precision PT1000 sensor measures the ambient air temperature, and an electronic card housed in a UV-resistant, highly protective enclosure converts the data to an analog 0–10 V output. This model of ambient temperature sensor works with any Dataloggers, Gateway, or PLCs that has an input port that is between 0 and 10 volts.
