Compact Weather Station – 3S-CWS
The Compact Weather Station is an all-in-one, professional-grade sensor unit that combines multiple environmental measurements into one compact housing. Instead of installing separate sensors for wind, temperature, humidity, and pressure, this integrated device delivers a complete dataset through a single Modbus RTU output over RS485.
It is designed for solar PV monitoring, agricultural applications, smart cities, and environmental studies, where reliable weather data is critical for decision-making.
The flexible design of the Compact Weather Station makes it possible to select the connected sensors according to the required parameters in meteorological applications.

How Does the Compact Weather Station Work?

The 3S-Compact Weather Station integrates multiple sensors into a single weatherproof housing, designed for quick and error-free installation.
External sensors follow a Plug & Play principle:
- The connection box is equipped with waterproof, UV-resistant connectors.
- Each sensor uses a unique pin configuration, making incorrect connections impossible.
Once installed, the weather station automatically begins collecting measurements. All incoming signals from the connected sensors are processed by the electronic control board inside the connection box. The processed data is then transmitted via RS485 using Modbus RTU, ensuring reliable, long-distance communication with SCADA systems, PLCs, or dataloggers.
