Accurate environmental data is critical for monitoring and optimizing the performance of PV Plants. For this, SEVEN Sensor provides a range of weather stations specially configured for compatibility with popular dataloggers, such as Huawei, SolarEdge, Sungrow, SMA, Bluelog, Solis, Solplanet, and others, ensuring an easy integration with the monitoring system you already use.
What Are SEVEN Weather Stations?
A SEVEN weather station is a combination of sensors that collect meteorological data such as irradiance, temperature, humidity, wind speed & direction, pressure, and precipitation.
These sensors are specifically engineered with a Modbus RTU Output allowing them to be integrated easily with different datalogger brands via analog or digital protocols, ensuring plug-and-play compatibility and real-time data reporting.
Brand-Specific Station Configurations
SEVEN offers complete, brand-oriented weather station packages, each containing the precise sensors your datalogger model requires:
Huawei Weather Station
Compatible with Huawei Smartloggers (Smartlogger1000/2000/3000) and monitoring platforms (Enspire, Neteco, FusionSolar). Includes pyranometer, ambient & module temperature sensors, wind speed & direction sensors fully RS485/Modbus RTU enabled. Other sensors are not included, as they cannot be visualized in Huawei’s monitoring interface.
SolarEdge Weather Station
Suited for SolarEdge Gateway systems, featuring analog outputs including a PV pyranometer, wind sensors, and temperature sensors. Connects directly to the SolarEdge Monitoring portal.
SMA, GoodWe, Sungrow, Elum Weather Stations
SMA, GoodWe, Sungrow, and Elum are configured with necessary sensors like irradiance, temperature, wind, and humidity based on each manufacturer’s compatibility list.
Bluelog, Webdyn, Solar-Log, ABB/Fimer Weather Stations
All SEVEN Weather Stations are SunSpec compliant, ensuring their compatibility with dataloggers that are working with this protocol only such as Webdyn, Solar-Log, Bluelog, and ABB/Fimer.
Growatt, Solis, Solplanet, Solax, Kehuatech, Hopewind, DEIF Weather Stations
SEVEN weather stations are automatically pre-configured for use with these dataloggers: Growatt, Solis, Solplanet, Solax, Kehuatech, Hopewind, DEIF…
Core and Optional Sensors
Most SEVEN weather stations include:
- Irradiance Sensor
- Ambient & Module Temperature Sensors
- Wind Speed & Direction Sensors
- Relative Humidity Sensor
SEVEN also offers other sensor models such as Thermopile Pyranometer, Albedometer, Soiling Sensor, Snow Sensor, Clouding Sensor, Barometric pressure, Rain gauge …
