Rain Gauge with Pulse Output – 3S-RG-PLS
SEVEN Rain Gauge is designed to accurately measure the rainfall with a collection area of 200 cm² using the reed relay with the principle of tipping buckets. The sensor housing is made of seawater resistant anodized aluminum, making it extremely durable and resistant. This Rain Gauge Model is compatible with SEVEN Compact Weather Station and Sensor Box models.
The SEVEN Rainfall Sensor is designed to accurately measure rainfall with a 200 cm² collection area using a reed relay and the tipping bucket principle. These sensors can measure rainfall intensity (light, moderate, heavy) or simply detect whether rain is falling. It can be connected to SEVEN Compact Weather Station as well as data loggers and other receiver units.

How does a Rain Sensor Work?
The rain sensor is designed to accurately measure rainfall with a collection area of 200 cm² using a reed relay and the tipping bucket principle. The measured rainfall data is transmitted to the data loggers and receiver units as pulse signals for the Rain Gauge with Pulse Output.
Where do Rain Sensor work?
Rain sensors are used in meteorology, hydrology, agriculture, photovoltaic (PV) fields, and various industries to measure precipitation intensity.
Why choose SEVEN Rain Sensors?
- The SEVEN Rain Gauge is an ideal measurement transmitter with the best price/performance ratio for the standard requirements of industrial and environmental applications, such as PV plants.
 - The sensor’s housing material is made of seawater-resistant anodized aluminum, making it extremely durable and resistant.
 - Installation of the rain gauge sensor is simple. It includes three legs, which can be easily mounted on the ground using screws. No additional mounting accessories are required, but a flat surface is essential.
